Unnecessary Facts
I dance while waiting for food.
I can't drink anything hot without burning my tongue at least once.
I sometimes take ten photos, hate all of them, then accidentally take one perfect picture while trying to put my phone away.
And when I'm embarrassed, I smile before I even realize I'm doing it.

Not Quite Innocent
I usually seem calm when you first meet me.
That's mostly because I'm watching.
I notice how people talk, what makes them laugh and whether they're actually listening or just waiting for their turn to speak.
Give me a few minutes and a reason to feel comfortable, though, and I become much harder to predict.
Apparently, being quiet and being innocent are two very different things.
Things I Notice
I photograph things nobody asked me to photograph.
Rain on glass.
Interesting hands.
A strange little street.
The way afternoon light suddenly makes an ordinary room look beautiful.
I think I'm just afraid that small moments disappear too quickly.
So sometimes I keep them.
Maybe that's why I also remember little things people tell me.
What Gets Attention
Being loud doesn't automatically make someone interesting.
I notice confidence that doesn't need an audience.
Good humor.
A man who can tease me and still know where the line is.
Someone who actually remembers what I told him instead of starting every conversation from zero.
And curiosity.
Real curiosity is incredibly attractive.
